Certified Flooring Inspector Training vs. Certified Expert
Several trade organizations offer Flooring Inspector Training and Certification. Some are private companies and others are industry trade organizations.
Many inspector training organizations offer a few day training course and Certification for a single product. A short course and certification, does not make you an expert.
Some certification courses have few requirements to become certified. Many flooring Inspector’s have a background in a single product such as carpet or laminate and they become certified in that product alone.
The purchase of new flooring or floor covering is one of the most expensive investments a homeowner will make. You want to protect that investment. When a problem arises a homeowner needs the services of an Expert Certified Inspector.
Terry and Kevin both grew up in the flooring industry. Their background gave them familiarity in many types of flooring products. Terry with over 40 years in the industry and Kevin with over 25, are not only inspectors, they are recognized experts in the floor covering inspection industry.
From carpet to hardwood, laminate and luxury vinyl, the Weinheimer Group are certified flooring experts in demand. They are competent, knowledgeable inspectors.
Certified Expert Inspector
A floor covering certification does not make the inspector a competent, informed inspector. A certified inspector that has gone beyond certification and became an expert can make a real difference when it comes to settling a claim.
Not all floorcovering products are the same. The inspection of a carpet, compares little to the inspection of hardwood or a luxury vinyl. Not all inspectors or the products they inspect are the same. The variety of products and methods of installation are ever changing. At the Weinheimer Group we never stop learning. We stay abreast of the ever changing flooring and floor covering industries.
The Weinheimer Group are Qualified, Certified Experts.
If you want nationally known and qualified, certified experts, request an inspection or information. Weinheimer Group, Experts Kevin and Terry are qualified to inspect, test and evaluate concerns with multiple types of floors.
The Flooring Inspection
The average fee for a residential or small commercial floor covering, inspection ranges between $300 to $1,500. The fee depends on the type of flooring, size of the job, amount of testing that may be involved and travel. Spending more for a qualified inspector often saves you money. If you really want to have the best service, you may have to do as the founder of our company James H. Weinheimer stated in 1934. “Price is soon for gotten but quality still remains!” This saying is as true today as it was in 1934.
Kevin and Terry serve Oregon and Washington. They are available for National and International travel.
Terry Weinheimer and/or Kevin Weinheimer have been trained and/or certified by NALFA, FCTIS, NFIC, WFCA, IICRC, NICFI, CFI and NWFA.
